witness due to seeing or hearing. Normally, testimony is given about things someone has seen or heard, as in, he bears witness to them taking place. Testimony is based upon a person seeing what is being testified to beforehand, and someone being a witness is not normally accepted unless he saw what took place. This means, that there is one personality from amongst the honourable Prophets صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم who saw Allah Almighty, Paradise and the Hellfire, and due to his witnessing, testimony can be given on everyone’s behalf because of him. The basis of the testimony of the honourable Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام, is from none other than the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, because he saw Allah Almighty, Paradise and Hellfire with his own blessed eyes. Upon his witnessing, testimony reached the level of completion.[1]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Another wisdom behind the Night Ascension
4. Allah Almighty has made His beloved صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم the owner of every treasure. In the 30th Juz of the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty states in the 1st verse of Surah Al-Kawsar:
اِنَّاۤ اَعْطَیْنٰكَ الْكَوْثَرَؕ(۱)
O Beloved, We have indeed bestowed upon you countless excellences.
[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 30, Surah Al Kawsar, verse 1)
