Allah Almighty Himself wants to bring happiness and pleasure to the heart of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Another wisdom behind the Night Ascension

The famous commentator of the Holy Quran, Hakeem-ul-Ummat, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Na’eemi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه explains some of the meanings and wisdoms behind the Mi’raaj:

2.   All of the individual miracles, excellences and ranks given to the honourable Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام; in fact, more than this, was granted to the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. There are many examples in this regard. Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم was able to go upon Mount Tur and speak with Allah Almighty. Sayyiduna ‘Isa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم was called up to the fourth sky. Sayyiduna Idrees عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم was called into Paradise. Now observe, that the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was granted the Me’raj, in which he spoke with Allah Almighty, travelled the skies, observed Paradise and Hellfire; In summary, all of the qualities of these previous Prophets were shown in a single Me’raj of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.^[1]

3.   Another amazing wisdom of the Me’raj of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, was that the honourable Prophets had testified in Allah Almighty, as well as Paradise and the Hellfire. They also had اَشْھدُاَنُ لَّآاِلٰہَ اِلَّااللہ recited by members of their respective nations. One key point here, is that none of the honourable Prophets صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم gave
