This (i.e. the Qur'aan) is a declaration for the people, and guidance and advice for the pious.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 4, Surah Aale ‘Imraan, Verse 138)

Regarding the last blessed verse, the renowned commentator of the Holy Quran, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan Na’eemi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه has said: The general blessing of the Holy Quran is for general people, that is, the clear mention of everything, but the special blessing is for special people, that is, to guide [them] to the right path. (He رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه further said:) the Holy Quran being an explanation or guidance is for us, not for the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم had already been taught and advised about everything, and he صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was already upon guidance. (Tafseer Na’eemi, vol. 4, p. 200)

Dear Islamic brothers! After listening to the luminous and sacred verses of the Holy Quran, every wise person will fully comprehend that in reality, ‘The Quran is the only book of guidance’. اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, just as we have received the clear proof of this fact from the verses of the Holy Quran, similarly, we also receive this fragrant Madani pearl in light of the blessed Ahadith that ‘The Quran is the only book of guidance’. Let us listen to a blessed Hadith in order to attain blessings.

Sayyiduna ‘Ali al-Murtada کَـرَّمَ الـلّٰـهُ وَجۡـھَـهُ الۡـکَـرِیۡم narrated that the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘A tribulation will soon arise.’ I asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! What will be the way to stay safe from it?’

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied, ‘The book of Allah Almighty; it contains the news of your future and past generations, and the judgements of your mutual dealings. The Quran is conclusive, and this is not false. The unjust person who leaves it, Allah Almighty will destroy him, and the one who seeks guidance in other than it, Allah Almighty will misguide him; it is the strong rope of Allah Almighty and His wise remembrance. It is the straight path. The Quran is the book by virtue of which, desires do not get spoilt, other languages combined together cannot make it doubtful, from which Islamic scholars are not
