اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه, the Holy Quran is the Divine revelation, the means of attaining closeness to Allah Almighty, a summary of all heavenly books, the fountainhead of all branches of knowledge, a collection of guidance and a treasury of mercy and blessings. It is the Noor [luminosity] which dispels all the darkness of misguidance, it is a system of reformation and upbringing which purify a person’s inner and outer, and makes him exceptional, it is the faithful companion which helps in the grave and will also help on the Day of Judgement. It contains cure for the sick hearts. The one who holds fast to it, will be guided, and the one who acts upon it, will succeed in the world and the Hereafter. Let us listen to the excellence and glory of this Holy Book in its own words. It is stated in part 15, in verse 9 of Surah Bani Israel:

اِنَّ هٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنَ یَهْدِیْ لِلَّتِیْ هِیَ اَقْوَمُ

Indeed, this Qur'aan shows that path which is the most straight

[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 15, Surah Bani Isra’eel, Verse 9)

It is stated in part 14, in verse 89 of Surah An-Nahl:

وَ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَیْكَ الْكِتٰبَ تِبْیَانًا لِّكُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَّ هُدًى وَّ رَحْمَةً وَّ بُشْرٰى لِلْمُسْلِمِیْنَ۠(۸۹)

And We have sent down this Qur'aan upon you, which is a clear explanation of all things, and guidance, and mercy and glad tidings to the Muslims.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 14, Surah Al-Nahl, Verse 89)

It is stated in Ayah 138 of Surah Aal-e-‘Imran, part 4:

هٰذَا  بَیَانٌ  لِّلنَّاسِ   وَ  هُدًى  وَّ  مَوْعِظَةٌ  لِّلْمُتَّقِیْنَ(۱۳۸)
