Remaining points regarding neighbours

*   If he falls ill then enquire about his health.

*   During times of grief, show him compassion and support him.

*   During times of happiness, congratulate him and express happiness for his sake.

*   Forgive his shortcomings.

*   Do not peer into his house from the roof.

*   Do not obstruct the path to his house.

*   Conceal his shortcomings.

*   If he is involved in an accident or other incident, then help him immediately.

*   If he is not home, then do not be heedless in protecting his home.

*   Do not listen to any words that are spoken against him and keep your gaze lowered from his family members.

*   Speak gently to his children.

*   Guide him in those religious and worldly affairs which he has no knowledge about. (Ihya`-ul-‘Uloom, vol. 2, p. 267, summarised)
