Aqal Mand Mubaligh

Book Name:Aqal Mand Mubaligh

In another place, it is stated: Whosoever remains seated in his place of prayer after offering Fajr Salah, until he offers the Nafl of Ishraq, and only speaks of good, his sins will be forgiven even if they are more than the foam of the sea. (Abu Dawood, p. 211, Hadith 1287)

Dear Islamic brothers! Mulla Ali Qadiri رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states the following regarding the part of the Hadith where it states ‘remains seated in his place of prayer’: Meaning, whether at home or in the Masjid, he remains in such a state that he is busy in Zikr, reflection, seeking and teaching religious knowledge or performing Tawaf of the Ka’bah. Morevoer, he states regarding the part ‘only speaks of good’: Meaning, he doesn’t speak anything but good between Fajr and Ishraq, for this is the matter upon which the reward is granted. (Mirqat, vol. 3, p. 358, under the Hadith 1317, selected)

Let us listen to some Sunnah and etiquettes of Miswak from the booklet of Shaykh-e-Tareeqat, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, entitled, ‘163 Madani Pearls’. Listen to two sayings of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم first:

*   Offering 2 units of Salah after using Miswak is more superior to offering 70 units without using Miswak. (Attargheeb-wat-tarheeb, vol. 1, p. 102, Hadith 18)

*   Make the use of Miswak necessary upon yourselves, for in it is the cleanliness of the mouth and it is the means of gaining Allah’s pleasure. (Masnad Imam Ahmed Bin Hanbal, vol. 2, p. 438, Hadith 5869)
