One major reason behind the success of Dawat-e-Islami is the wisdom of Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه. From the time that Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ founded Dawat-e-Islami until today, he made the correct decisions at the appropriate time after deliberation, consultations and in accordance to the situation, and then actioned the decisions that were reached after joint consultations. As a result of this, the sapling which he planted (i.e. Dawat-e-Islami), grew over time and is now before the entire world in the form of an immense tree.

Dawat-e-Islami and the departments of religious services

Ponder for a moment! Dawat-e-Islami was founded in 1981, and the initial religious work of Dawat-e-Islami was the weekly Ijtima’. Shaykh-e-Tareeqat, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ initiated the weekly Ijtima’ in Karachi, from which the call to righteousness began to spread, and then Dars began in Masajid. Then, a need was felt that although the call towards righteousness was reaching those who were attending the Masjid, but how could those unfortunate Muslims who were distant from the Masjid be brought towards the Masjid, hence, the Area Dars began. Moreover, Dawat-e-Islami was not a movement just for a certain area, rather, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ had set out with the mission of ‘I must strive to reform myself and the people of the entire world,’ and in order to fulfil this mission, the message of the religion was to be spread to the entire world, therefore, the Madani Qafilahs were initiated.

Thus, the call towards righteousness began to spread to distant areas. But Islamic sisters are also included within the people of the entire world, and the call towards righteousness was to be delivered to them also. Therefore, religious works were commenced among them too whilst observing Shar’i guidelines. Like this, as time went by, various departments came into existence.
