too, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will bestow upon them a special status as was stated by the Holy Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: On Judgement Day, the ink used by Ulama and the blood of martyrs will be weighed. It is in another narration: The ink used by Ulama will dominate the blood of martyrs.

Sayyiduna Imam Ghazali رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه has narrated: When on the Day of Judgment, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will make worshipers and those who fought for His cause enter Paradise, Ulama will say: O our merciful Lord! By the knowledge we spread, these worshipers and fighters of Your cause gained their ranks (they have entered Paradise but we are left behind). Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ will say: O Scholars! To Me your status is like that of some of My angels, therefore, intercede. Your intercession will be accepted. Hence, they will intercede and then they will enter Paradise. (Ithaf-us-Sadaat Al-Muttaqeen, vol. 1, p. 162)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Benefits of devotion to Ulama

Dear Islamic brothers! Without any doubt, there are countless benefits of loving those Ulama and Mashaaikh looking at whom one remembers Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, because devotion to these personalities is indeed the devotion to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ. Further, many excellences of loving Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ have been reported in Ahadith.

Sayyiduna Sufyan Bin Uyaynah رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه reported that Sayyiduna Isa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام said, ‘Adopt the company of such people, looking at whose faces makes you remember the Lord, whose speech increases your knowledge, whose action makes you yearn about the Hereafter. (Jami’ Bayan-ul-‘llm wa Fadlih, p. 172, Raqm 567)

Sayyiduna Anas رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ narrated the Holy Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to have said: When someone loves his brother for (the pleasure of) Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, an announcer proclaims from the heavens, ‘Be happy! Paradise is
