Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said:

مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًالَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِيهِ،وَلَمْ يُصَلُّوا عَلَى نَبِيِّهِمْ اِلَّا كَانَ عَلَيْهِمْ تِرَةً فَاِنْ شَآءَ عَذَّبَهُمْ وَاِنْ شَاءَ غَفَرَ لَهُم

Such a gathering of people, in which they do not make the remembrance of Allah nor do they send Salat upon their Prophet, will cause them regret (on the Day of Judgment); hence, it is up to the will of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ whether He punishes them or forgives them. (Tirmizi, vol. 5, p. 247, Hadith 3391)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ’, meaning, ‘A sincere intention is the most superior action.’ (Jami’ah-us-Sagheer, p. 81, Hadith 1284) O devotees of the Prophet! Make a habit of making good intention before every action, for a good intention causes one to enter Paradise. Make some good intentions before listening to the Bayan!

For example:

   * I will listen to the entire Bayan in order to learn knowledge

   *I will sit respectfully

   *I will avoid laziness during the Bayan

   *I will listen to the Bayan for my own rectification

   *I will try to relay what I hear to others.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! In many verses of the Quran and various Ahadith, the religious and the worldly benefits and excellences of knowledge have been mentioned; while, the books written by our pious predecessors رَحِمَهُمُ الـلّٰـه are filled with these too. Let’s listen to the
