was in reference to superiority; a student of knowledge should remain in pursuit of knowledge all the time. (Rah-e-‘Ilm, p. 73)
* A student of knowledge should refrain from fighting and quarrelling too as quarrelling and mischief wastes time. (Rah-e-‘Ilm, p. 74)
* A student of knowledge should happily tolerate the afflictions and difficulties he confronts in the path of knowledge. (Rah-e-‘Ilm, p. 80)
* The more pious a student of knowledge is, the more his knowledge will benefit. (Rah-e-‘Ilm, p. 81)
* A student of knowledge should keep his books with him all the time so that he can read them in his free time. (Rah-e-‘Ilm, p. 85)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Du’a for increase in knowledge
The Du’a that will be memorised as per the schedule of this week’s training session in the Weekly Ijtima’ of Dawat-e-Islami is the Du’a to increase knowledge, which is as follows:
رَّبِّ زِدۡنِیۡ عِلۡمًا
‘O my Lord, bestow upon me more knowledge.’
[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 16, Surah Ta-Ha, Verse 114)
Method of collective Fikr-e-Madinah (72 Madani In’amaat)
Saying of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Pondering (over the Hereafter) for a moment is better than the worship of 60 years.
