he رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ took 17 Ajwah dates and then presented them to the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم asked, ‘O Abul Hasan! From where did you get these dates?’ He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ replied, ‘O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! I received news of your severe hunger so I set out for work in order to acquire something for you to eat.’ The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Did you do all of this out of love for Allah Almighty and His Messenger (صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم)? He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ replied, ‘Yes, O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم!’ The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘By Allah Almighty! Whosoever loves Allah Almighty and His Messenger (صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم), then destitution and hunger come to him just as quickly as a flood of water flows downwards. Therefore, the one who loves Allah Almighty and His Messenger (صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم) should keep a shield of patience ready. صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Let us listen to some more virtues and qualities of Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen, Sayyiduna Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ:

Virtues and qualities of Sayyiduna Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ

Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Mas’ood رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ states: I was present in the company of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم when somebody asked about Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen Sayyiduna Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, so he رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ said, ‘Wisdom was divided into 10 parts; 9 parts were given to Sayyiduna Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ and 1 part was given to other people.’ (Tareekh Ibn-e-‘Asakir, vol. 42, p. 384, Raqm 4933)

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: Whenever Allah Almighty has made an address using ‘(یٰٓاَ یُّھَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا) (O believers)’ in the Quran,
