Murtada رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was 8 or 10 years old at the time of accepting Islam.’ (Fatawa Razawiyyah, vol. 28, p. 434, derived from)

He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was brought up by the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and remained busy in aiding the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and assisting the religion of Islam throughout his life. Due to having the honour of being from among the early migrants and the ten promised Paradise (‘Asharah Mubasharah), and many other special virtues, he رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ holds a very eminent rank. Great enemies of Islam were sent to Hell by the blows of his sword, Zulfiqar. After the martyrdom of Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen, Sayyiduna Usman-e-Ghani رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, the Ansaar and Muhajireen took the pledge of allegiance on his hands and selected him as the Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen, and he رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ remained the caliph for 4 years, 8 months and 9 days. Blessed qualities of Sayyiduna Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ

Dear Islamic brothers! Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen, Sayyiduna Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ possessed many qualities; which virtuous quality is there that is not found in him!

*   Sayyiduna Ali رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ possessed fear of Allah Almighty

*   He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ is dear to everyone

*   He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ possessed a gentle heart

*   He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ spoke softly

*   He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was brought up under the care of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

*   He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was someone who spent in the way of Allah Almighty

*   He رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ was a true worshipper
