صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! We will listen to some more accounts from the life of Umm-ul-Mu’mineen Sayyidatuna Khadijah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا, but before that, let us listen to a short introduction to her:

An introduction to Sayyidatuna Khadija-tul-Kubra رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا

*   The name of Sayyiduna Khadijah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا is Khadijah, her father’s name was Khuwaylid and her mother’s name was Fatimah.

*   The Kunyah of Sayyidatuna Khadijah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا is Umm-ul-Qasim and Umm-e-Hind.

*   She رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا was born 15 years before the Year of the Elephant.

*   Her titles are Taahirah, Sayyidah, Siddiqah and Kubra.

*   Her final title (Kubra) is mentioned so often alongside her name that it is like a part of her name.

*   She رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا was the first to accept Islam from among the women.

*   Her lineage joins with the blessed lineage of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم via just 3 links.

*   She رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا was from the most noble tribe of the Arabs, the Quraysh.

*   She رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا is the mother of the queen of Paradise, Sayyidatuna Fatimah-tuz-Zahra رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا, and the grandmother of the leaders of the youth of Paradise, Imam Hasan and Imam Husayn رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُما.
