Salat upon me in a day, I will shake hands with him on the Day of Judgement.’ (Al-Qurbi Ibn-e-Bashkwal, p. 91, Hadith 90)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ’, meaning, ‘A sincere intention is the most superior action.’ (Jami’ah-us-Sagheer, p. 81, Hadith 1284) O devotees of the Prophet! Make a habit of making good intention before every action, for a good intention causes one to enter Paradise. Make some good intentions before listening to the Bayan!

For example:

   *I will listen to the entire Bayan in order to learn knowledge

   *I will sit respectfully

   *I will avoid laziness during the Bayan

   *I will listen to the Bayan for my own rectification

   *I will try to relay what I hear to others.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! It is the boundless grace and favour of Allah Almighty that we are once again about to witness the blessings of Ramadan. The beautiful month of Ramadan is almost upon us; bringing for us its mercy, forgiveness and such countless blessings which we cannot imagine, just as it is stated in the Hadith, ‘If the people knew what was in Ramadan, my Ummah would wish for it to be Ramadan for the entire year.’ (Ibn-e-Khuzaymah, vol. 3, p. 190, Hadith 1886) اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه, in today’s weekly Sunnah-inspired Ijtima’, we will have the honour of hearing about the greatness and virtues of Ramadan, how great its importance is, and how we should spend this sacred and honourable month. Many other beneficial points will also be mentioned.
