us listen to two sayings of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم which give encouragement for and mention the importance of the Zikr of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ in Ramadan:

   ۔1He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Do four things in abundance during this month; there are two from among them by means of which you will please your Lord, they are: 1. Testifying to لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ 2. Making Istighfar, and the two which you cannot do without: 1. Seeking Paradise from Allah Almighty 2. Seeking refuge from Hell.’ (Ibn-e-Khuzaymah, vol. 3, p. 191, Hadith 1887)

   ۔2He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘The one who performs the Zikr of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ in Ramadan will be forgiven, and the one who asks Allah Almighty in this month, will not be deprived.’ (Shu’ab-ul-Iman, vol. 3, p. 311, Hadith 3627)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                  صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Recite the Quran abundantly in the month of Ramadan

Dear Islamic brothers! We were hearing about spending our Ramadan in performing good deeds, and making efforts to offer Salah, keep fasts, make Du’as for entry into Paradise and for protection against Hell, treating Islamic brothers kindly, observing patience, making an abundance of Zikr and seeking forgiveness, and alongside performing other righteous deeds, we must especially recite the Quran in abundance. If only we are successful in spending most of our time in Ramadan reciting the Quran.

Our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم gave encouragement for the recitation of the Quran and also mentioned its virtues. Let us listen to two sayings of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:

   ۔1He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: When the reciter of the Quran will come
