Book Name:Deeni Talaba Per Kharch Kejiye
the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم used to spend only on the Ashab-us-Suffah, but rather his wealth was bequeathed for the religion; so whatever wealth he would obtain, he would spend it in the way of Allah Almighty.
Sayyiduna Abu Zar رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ says: ‘Once, while I was in the company of the Merciful Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, he saw the mountain of Uhud and said: ‘If this mountain turned into gold for me, I would not like for even a single Dinar of it to remain with me for more than three days except that Dinar which I will keep for repaying debts.’ (Bukhari, vol. 2, p. 105, Hadith 2388)
Allah Almighty states in the Holy Quran:
وَ اَمَّا السَّآىٕلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْؕ(۱۰)
And do not scold the beggar.
[Kanz-ul-Iman (translation of Quran)] (Part 30, Surah Al-Duha, Verse 10)

(Khaazin, Surah Al-Duha, under the verse 10, vol. 4, p. 388; Madarik, vol. 10, p. 1357 Selected)

But it would not be wrong to say that all the wealth of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was devoted to the religion, because he did not make anyone a heir of a dinar or a dirham of his.
The commentator of Quran, Mufti Ahmad Yar Khan رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْه writes in the commentary of a Hadith: ‘Some of the blessed Prophets عَـلَيْـهِمُ الـسَّـلاَم completely renounced the world, they did not accumulate anything, such as Sayyiduna Yahya and ‘Eisa عَـلَيْـهِما الـسَّـلاَم, and some of them had a lot of wealth such as Sayyiduna Sulayman and Dawood عَـلَيْـهِما الـسَّـلاَم. But the financial legacy of a
