e-Ghani رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ, he freed this number of slaves.’ (Jaami’-ul-Mu’jizaat, pp. 257, summarised)(Sahabah Kiraam ka ‘Ishq-e-Rasool, pp. 53-54)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! You heard as to how Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen Sayyiduna ‘Usman-e-Ghani رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ freed one slave per footstep of the Noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم out of love for the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. One comes to know from this that the light of love and devotion for the Holy Prophet was shining in the heart of Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen Sayyiduna ‘Usman-e-Ghani رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, and the feeling of love for the Holy Prophet had become so infused in his veins and soul that nothing was more dear to him than the personality of the Blessed and Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

Allah Almighty has given the order of respecting the Noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم in the Holy Qur’an itself; hence,

It is stated by Allah Almighty in Part 26, verse number 9 of Soorat-ul-Fath:

لِّتُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَ تُعَزِّرُوْهُ وَ تُوَقِّرُوْهُؕ-وَ تُسَبِّحُوْهُ بُكْرَةً وَّ اَصِیْلًا(۹)

In order that, O people, you may believe in Allah and His Messenger, and honour and revere the Messenger (the Holy Prophet Muhammad), and you should glorify Allah, morning and evening.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 26, Surah Al-Fath, Verse 9)

It is written in Tafseer Siraat-ul-Jinaan under the aforementioned verse: One comes to know from this verse that the respect and reverence of the Noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is greatly desired and carries deep importance in the Majestic Court of Allah Almighty because here Allah Almighty made the respect and reverence of His Beloved precede His Tasbih (mentioning His glorification). Also, whilst declaring those who respect him after they believe as being successful and prosperous, Allah Almighty states:

فَالَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا بِهٖ وَ عَزَّرُوْهُ وَ نَصَرُوْهُ وَ اتَّبَعُوا النُّوْرَ الَّذِیْۤ اُنْزِلَ مَعَهٗۤۙ-اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ۠(۱۵۷)
