Eminence of Sayyiduna 'Usman-e-Ghani
included within the responsibilities of this Majlis. May Allah Almighty grant more success to the weekly Ijtima Majlis. اٰمِــيْن بِـجَـاهِ الـنَّـبِـیِّ الْاَمِــيْن صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Some rulings regarding neighbours
O devotees of the Rasool! We will now have the honour of listening to some rulings regarding neighbours. Before that, we will listen to two sayings of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:
* He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: The best neighbour in the sight of Allah Almighty is the one who wishes well for his neighbour. (Tirmizi, vol. 3, p. 379, Hadees 1951)
* He صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also said: The one who caused harm to his neighbour, he has harmed me, and the one who harmed me, he has caused harm to Allah Almighty. (Attargheeb Wattarheeb, vol. 3, p. 286, Hadees 3907)
* It is written in Nuzha-tul-Qaari: Every person understands who a neighbour is according to his own customs and norms. (Nuzhat-ul-Qaari, vol. 5, p. 568)
* Imam Muhammad Ghazali رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه states: From the rights of the neighbour is that one should give him Salam first.
The remaining rulings regarding neighbours will be mentioned in the study circles. Therefore, make sure to take part in the study circles to learn about them.
