٭   Likewise, if you reply by saying ‘اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکُم وَرَحْمَۃُ اللھِ وَبَرَکَاتُہٗ’, you get 30 good deeds.

٭   It is Wajib to reply instantly and with such a voice that the person giving Salaam can hear it.

٭   Learn the correct words of giving and replying to Salaam. First, I shall recite it and then you repeat it: ‘اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکُم’. Now, I shall firstly recite the reply and then you repeat it: ‘وَ عَلَیْکُمُ السَّلَام’

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Du’a for seeing a new moon

In the Madani Halqahs of the weekly Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’ of Dawat-e-Islami today, the ‘Du’a for seeing a new moon’ will be taught. The Du’a is as follows:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَهْلِلْهُ عَلَيْنَابِاليُمْنِ وَالاِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِوَالاِسْلَامِ، رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ

Translation: O Allah! Let this moon appear on us with blessing, Iman, safety, and Islam. (O the moon of the first night!) Your and my ‘Lord’ is Allah [Kareem]. (Tirmizi, vol. 5, pp. 281, Hadees 3462) (Khazina-e-Rahmat, pp. 66)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Method of collective Fikr-e-Madinah (72 Madani In’amaat)

Saying of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم: Pondering (over the Hereafter) for a moment is better than the worship of 60 years.
