Teach children to say Allah

O devotees of Ghaus-ul-A’zam! We too should teach the Zikr of Allah Almighty and His Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to our children instead of teaching them useless things. This will have a good impact on children.

In ‘Islami Zindagi’, a publication of Maktaba-tul-Madinah, the Islamic method of raising children has been mentioned and the summary is as follows:

٭ When a child is capable of speaking, teach him to say Allah. In the past, mothers would make children fall asleep by reciting ‘Allah Allah’, but alas! Various musical toys are now kept next to children.

٭ When a child is able to comprehend, do not carry out such actions before him which will ruin his character because children imitate whatever is done before them. Therefore, offer Salah and recite the Quran before them so that these habits can develop in them as well.

٭ When the children become quite sensible, teach them Kalimahs, Salah, Iman-e-Mujmal and Iman-e-Mufassal, and the rulings of Wudu and Ghusl etc. (Islami Zindagi, pp. 30, summarised)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers, there is a beautiful and easy method of nurturing kids which if applied within every home and implemented by the elders of the house or guardians, then by the mercy of Allah Almighty it is hoped that our children will learn to say ‘Allah Allah Allah’ from a young age, they will recite Na’at and recite Durood and Salam. Through the blessings of adopting this method, along with nurturing children, the blessings of Sunnah will flourish in every household. By the blessing of following this method, every house will become a peaceful place. By the blessing of adopting this method, afflictions and calamities will depart from the house. The devotees of Rasool are probably thinking, what is that method which if adopted will lead to all these blessings? It is a request that all Islamic brothers implement this method in
