٭They are those blessed personalities that as a result of their constant striving and everlasting sacrifices, today, we are among those who take the name of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

The rank and status of the blessed Sahabah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم is so high and elevated that Allah Almighty has beautifully praised them Himself in different verses of the Holy Quran.

Let’s listen to one blessed verse of the Holy Quran regarding the dignity and eminence of those sacred personalities so that their eminence and reverence could enlighten further in our hearts.

Allah Almighty states in part 11, Surah At-Taubah, Ayah no. 100:

رَّضِیَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَ رَضُوْا عَنْهُ وَ اَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِیْ تَحْتَهَا الْاَنْهٰرُ خٰلِدِیْنَ فِیْهَاۤ اَبَدًاؕ-ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِیْمُ(۱۰۰)

Translation from Kanz-ul-Iman: Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has kept ready for them Gardens beneath which rivers flow; to abide in it forever and ever; only this is the great success.

سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه! How elevated is the eminence of the blessed Sahabah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم that Allah Almighty accepted their deeds and gave them the glad-tidings of Him being pleased with them forever and the blessings of Paradise. Besides this verse, there are various other verses too that mention the eminence, rank, other attributes and excellences of the blessed Sahabah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم.

The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also mentioned the eminence and dignity of his beloved companions رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم on different occasions and highlighted their rank and status in a great manner. In order to attain blessings, let’s listen to three blessed sayings of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم regarding the dignity of the blessed Sahabah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهُم.
