and he رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said: لَمْ اَرَكَ ‘You did not come to us again?’ I humbly said: ‘Ya Ameer-al-Mu`mineen! I did come but you were busy talking to Sayyiduna Ameer-e-Mu’awiyah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ. Your son, Sayyiduna Abdullah Bin Umar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ, was also standing outside waiting. (I thought to myself that when son does not have the permission of going inside, then how do I have the permission?) Therefore, I returned with him.” He رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ said: اَنْتَ اَحَقُّ بِالْاِذْنِ مِنْ عَبْدِ اللّٰہِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ اِنَّمَا اَنْبَتَ ماتَریٰ فِیْ رُؤُوْسِنَا اللّٰہُ ثُمَّ اَنْتُم ‘You are more deserving than my offspring to come inside. The hair that we have on our heads, after Allah Almighty, you grew them.’ (Tareekh Ibn-e-Asakir, Raqm 1566 - Al-Husain Bin Ali Bin Abi Talib, vol. 14, pp. 176)

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Imam Husain رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ

Dear Islamic brothers! 10^th Muharram-ul-Haraam is that day when the grandson of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Imam Husain رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ, was martyred in the scorching desert of Karbala along with his companions. With the intention of reward, let’s briefly hear about Imam Husain رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ.     

 ٭Sayyiduna Imam Husain رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ was born on 5^th Sha’ban 4 AH in Madina-e-Munawwarah.

 ٭The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم kept the name of Imam Husain رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ as ‘Husain’ and ‘Shabbir’.

 ٭The Kunyah [patronymic name] of Imam Husain رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ is ‘Abu ‘Abdullah’ and his titles are ‘Sibt-e-Rasoolullah (i.e. the grandson of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم)’ and ‘Rayhana-tur-Rasool’ (i.e. the flower of the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم).
