Remaining Sunnahs and manners of travelling
٭It is Sunnah to say (اَللّٰهُ اَكۡبَرُ) when going up the stairs, walking upwards or our bus etc. is passing through such a street that goes upwards. Moreover, it is Sunnah to say (سُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰهِ) when coming down the stairs, or walking downwards. Sayyiduna Jabir رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَـعَـالٰی عَـنْـهُ narrated: We would say (اَللّٰهُ اَكۡبَرُ) when climbing upwards, and we would say (سُبۡحٰنَ اللّٰهِ) when coming downwards.
٭When you get off at destination, recite the following Du’a from time to time, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ you will be safe from every loss:
اَعُوْذُ بِکَلِمَاتِ اللّٰہِ التَّآمَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Translation: I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ from the evil that is created by Him. (Al-Hisn-ul-Haseen, pp. 82)
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
