Allah Almighty states in part 4, Surah Aal-e-Imran, Ayah No. 102:

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ حَقَّ تُقٰتِهٖ وَ لَا تَمُوْتُنَّ اِلَّا وَ اَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ(۱۰۲)

Translation from Kanz ul Iman: O believers! Fear Allah as He should be rightfully feared, and never die but as Muslims. (Part 3, Surah Aal-e-‘Imran Ayah 102)

Dear Islamic brothers! In the last part of the verse, it has been stated that and never die but as Muslims. It means that try your best to stay on Islam in every moment of your life so that when you pass away, you pass away on Islam. (Siraat-ul-Jinan, vol. 2, pp. 20)

صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد                      صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب

Importance of Iman (faith) in the light of Hadees

Dear Islamic brothers! We shall always worry for the protection of our Iman (faith). We shall try to safeguard ourselves against the deceptions and whispers of Satan and Nafs. Remember! The way glad tidings of Jannah has been mentioned in the Holy Quran for those who remain steadfast on Iman, similarly, the Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has also mentioned the importance and command of protecting our Iman in blessed Ahadees. For persuasion, let’s listen to blessed Ahadees in relation to the protection of Iman.   

Worry for the protection of Iman

The Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: Soon such a time will come upon people where it will be necessary to adopt seclusion. At that time, only that person’s Iman will remain safe who would run from one mountain to the other or one place to the other out of the worry for the protection of his Iman, the way a bird or a fox keep migrating from one place to the other with their babies. Then, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated: In that era, that goat grazing
