    Madani pearls about shaking hands

Dear Islamic sisters! Let’s listen to some Madani pearls about shaking hands from the booklet ‘101 Madani Phool’, written by Shaykh-e-Tareeqat, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـه:

٭ When two Islamic sisters meet, it is Sunnah for them to shake hands using both hands after saying Salam.

٭ While shaking hands; if possible, recite the following Du’a as well after reciting Durood:

    یَغْفِرُ  اللّٰہُ  لَـنَا  وَ لَـکُمْ

May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ forgive me and you.

٭ While shaking hands, whatever Du’a is asked, اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ will be fulfilled; both will be forgiven before separating hands.

    ٭ Shaking hands eliminates enmity.

٭ The Sunnah of shaking hands is that both the palms are empty, having no handkerchief in the hand and the palm should touch the palm. (Bahar-e-Shari’at, part 16, vol. 3, pp. 98)
