the Hereafter, they will become a sign of admonition for the people in this world as well.

Snake wrapped around the neck

Sayyiduna Abu Ishaaq رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has stated that: I was called to give Ghusl to a deceased. When I removed the cloth from his face, there was snake wrapped around his neck. People said that he used to swear at the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم. (Sharh-us-Sudoor, pp. 173)

Under this incident, Shaykh-e-Tareeqat, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, ‘Allamah Maulana Abu Bilal Muhammad Ilyas ‘Attar Qaadiri Razavi دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ states: مَعَاذَ اللہ, swearing at the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم is a sin, a grave sin, strictly Haraam and an action that leads towards the Hell. Sadr ul Afadil, Maulana Sayyid Mufti Muhammad Na’eemuddin Muradabadi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه states: Muslim should hold extreme reverence for the blessed companions     رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم and embed their sacred love and respect in their hearts. Their love is the love of the Holy Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. And the unfortunate one who uses his tongue to disrespect the dignity of the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم is the enemy of Allah Almighty and His beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. A Muslim shall not sit in his company. (Sawanih-e-Karbala, pp. 31)

Dear Islamic brothers! We shall lead our lives while having the love of the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم in our hearts and following their Seerah. Moreover, those who are insolent towards the dignity of the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم, we shall distance ourselves from their evil company. In order to learn more about the dignity and greatness of the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم, read the books ‘Karamaat-e-Sahabah’ and ‘Sahabah-e-Kiraam ka Ishq-e-Rasool’ published by Maktaba-tul-Madina, the publishing department of Dawat-e-Islami. May Allah Almighty enable us to live our lives while following the Seerah of the blessed companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم.

اٰمِيۡن بِجَاهِ النَّبِيِّ الۡاَمِيۡن صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيۡهِ وَاٰلِه وَسَلَّم

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب           صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
