talking about of the blessed birth of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, is permissible. In the same relation, his صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم excellence, miracles, Seerah, attributes, blessed matters of his life, childhood and apparent arrival in this world are also mentioned in the same gatherings. These facts are also mentioned in Ahadees as well as the Holy Quran. If Muslims mention these narrations in their congregations or particularly hold a congregation to deliver such narrations, then there is no reason to declare these congregations impermissible. Inviting people to attend such congregations is inviting them towards goodness. The way announcements are made for speeches and congregations, advertisements and leaflets are published and distributed, articles are published in the newspapers, and the speeches and congregations are not declared to be impermissible due to these means of advertisements, in the same way, this Majlis of blessed Zikr [Milad] cannot be declared impermissible and an innovation if invitations are sent out for it too.’ (Bahar-e-Shari’at, vo. 3, pp. 644)
