would hear the voice of the recitation of the Holy Quran of his mother, but he رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه also had memorized 18 parts of the Holy Quran before coming into this mortal world.

Memorized 18 parts of the Holy Quran

When Ghaus-e-A’zam رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه was sent to a saint to recite ‘بِسۡـمِ اللّٰه’ at the age of five, he رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه recited ‘اَعُوۡذُ’ and ‘بِسۡـمِ اللّٰه’ and then recited from the first part to the 18th part of the Holy Quran. The pious said, ‘Son! Continue to recite.’ He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه replied, ‘This is all what I have memorized because my mother also memorized this much. When I was in my mother’s womb, my mother would recite up to the 18^th part of the Glorious Quran so I had memorized this much by listening to her.’ (Al-Haqaaiq fil Hadaiq, vol. 1, pp. 140)

تُو ہے وہ غوث کہ ہر غوث ہے شیدا تیرا
