رہُوں مَست و بے خُود میں تیری وِلا میں

پِلا جام ایسا پِلا یا الٰہی

مِرے دِل سے دُنیا کی چاہت مِٹا کر

کر اُلفت میں اپنی فَنَا یا الٰہی

سُـبْحٰـنَ اللهعَزَّوَجَلَّ! Have you noticed how simple Sayyiduna ‘Isa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was! He was not only simple, but also the one who would bear hunger and thirst and adopt piety and contentment; he عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام liked to offer Salah in extremely cold nights; he عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was the one who would weep out of the fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, who would love the poor and remain detached from the rich. Now keeping in mind his blessed life let’s do Fikr-e-Madinah i.e. make our own accountability. Do we like simplicity? Do we offer Salahs in hot and cold weather? Have we ever wept out of the fear of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ? Do we also love the poor and the destitute? Do we also run away from the love of this world? Do we also have the passion for pondering over the Hereafter? May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ enable us to do Fikr-e-Madinah in this manner and give us the ability to listen to the Zikr of pious people of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ by attending the Sunnah-inspiring Ijtima’aat and Madani Muzakarahs regularly so that we also become practising by virtue of its blessings.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللهتَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ, the mother of Sayyiduna ‘Isa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was a highly ranked Saint. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ also blessed her with many attributes. Let’s listen to the brief introduction of this great mother.

Introduction to the blessed mother of Sayyiduna ‘Isa

The name of Sayyiduna ‘Isa’s mother is Sayyidatuna Maryam رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا. The meaning of ‘Maryam’ is a worshipper and servant. (Tafseer Baghawi,       vol. 1, pp. 227)
