اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ وَ الصَّلٰوۃُ وَالسَّلَامُ علٰی سَیِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ ^ط

اَمَّا بَعْدُ فَاَعُوْذُ بِاللّٰہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْمِ ^ط  بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّ حِیْم ^ط

Blessed Saints’ Manners of Visiting Madinah

اَلصَّلٰوۃُ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا رَسُولَ اللہ                     وَعَلٰی اٰلِكَ وَ اَصْحٰبِكَ یَا حَبِیْبَ اللہ

اَلصَّلٰوۃُ وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا نَبِیَّ اللہ                 وَعَلٰی اٰلِكَ وَ اَصْحٰبِكَ یَا نُوْرَ اللہ

نَوَيۡتُ سُنَّتَ الۡاِعۡتِكَافِ

Translation: I have made the intention of Sunnah I’tikaf.

Whenever you enter a Masjid, upon remembering, make the intention of Nafl (supererogatory) I’tikaf because as long as you stay in the Masjid you will keep obtaining the reward of Nafl I’tikaf. In addition, eating and drinking (water etc.) will also become permissible for you in the Masjid.

Excellence of Salat-‘Alan-Nabi صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

The Beloved and Blessed Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated: Send abundant Salat upon me on Fridays, for it is the day of presence, angels appear [during this] and whoever recites Salat upon me, his Salat is presented to me. The narrator said: I humbly asked, ‘Even after your apparent demise?’ The Holy Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, ‘Yes! Indeed Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the Ambiya عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُوَالـسَّـلَام, so the Ambiya of Allah are alive and are provided with provision.’ (Ibn Majah, vol. 2, pp. 291, Hadees 1637)

جِنّ و بَشَر سلام کو حاضِر ہیں اَلسَّلام                      یہ بارگاہ مالکِ جِنّ و بَشَر کی ہے

چھائے ملائکہ ہیں لگاتار ہے دُرُود      بدلے ہیں پہرے بدلے میں بارش دُرَر کی ہے

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب              صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
