صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would also make different Du’as. Sometimes he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would stand in Salah the whole night to the extent that the blessed feet would swell. (Seerat-e-Mustafa, pp. 596)

Would give to every such person who asked for

It is also a Sunnah to give Sadaqah and charity abundantly in this month. Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا has said, ‘In Ramadan, the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would set free every prisoner and give something to every such person who asked for.’ (Ad-Durr-ul-Mansur, vol. 1, pp. 449)

Most generous

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Abbas رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا has stated, ‘The Holy Rasool     صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the most generous of all people and his ocean of generosity would turn turbulent the most in the moments of Ramadan when the honourable Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام visited him. Sayyiduna Jibra`eel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام would come every night and they both would recite the Holy Quran. Rasulullah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰى عَـلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would demonstrate more generosity than even a fast blowing wind.’ (Sahih Bukhari, vol. 1, pp. 9, Hadees 6)

ہاتھ اٹھا کر ایک ٹکڑا اے کریم

ہیں سخی کے مال میں حقدار ہم

O the devotees of Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! Have you heard! Our Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would love the sacred month of Ramadan very much. He صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would welcome this month in an absolutely splendid way. As the blessed month of Ramadan would begin, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would increase his acts of worship. Surely the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is the chief of the innocents and worshippers, even then for the sake of the glory and dignity of this month and educating the Ummah he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would not go to his bed the whole month, but rather he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would become occupied constantly with Divine worship.
