Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهُ has narrated that the Beloved Rasool      صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said: Anyone who misses one Sawm in Ramadan without a valid reason or without illness cannot make up for it even if he continues fasting forever [and] though he observes Sawm later on.’

Sayyiduna Jabir Bin ‘Abdullah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا has narrated that the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said: ‘مَنْ اَدْرَکَ رَمَضَانَ وَلَمْ یَصُمْهُ فَقَدْ شَقِیَ’ The one who reaches the month of Ramadan but does not observe Siyam in it is unfortunate. (Al-Mu’jam-ul-Awsat, vol. 3, pp. 62, Hadees 3871)

دو جہاں کی نعمتیں ملتی ہیں روزہ دار کو

جو نہیں رکھتا ہے روزہ وہ بڑا نادان ہے
