in addition to the knowledge of Quran, Hadees, Fiqh, geography, medicine, history, astrology, mathematic, lexicography, syntax, etc. It is said that the number of his books is more than 300. Many of them consist of many volumes and some booklets are also included in them.

Imam Ibn Qudaamah Hanbali رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has said: Imam Ibn Jawzi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه was the Imam of sermon and oration. He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه wrote best books on different arts and sciences. He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه would also teach and was also Hafiz-ul-Hadees, (Hafiz-ul-Hadees is the personage who has memorized one hundred thousand blessed Ahadees with their references) but despite being so great Imam of his time ‘Allamah Ibn Jawzi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه knew about only 11 commentaries out of 40 commentaries mentioned by Sayyiduna Ghaus-e-A’zam رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه. From this, the great depth of the knowledge of Sayyiduna Ghaus-e-A’zam رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه can easily be judged.

مَظہرِ عظمتِ غفّار ہیں غوثِ اعظم مُظہِرِ رِفعَتِ جبّار ہیں غوثِ اعظم

نائبِ احمدِ مُختار ہیں غوثِ اعظم اور سب ولیوں کے سردار ہیں غوثِ اعظم

سُلطانِ ولایت غوثِ پاک

دریائے کرامت غوثِ پاک

ولیوں پہ حکومت غوثِ پاک

فرماؤ حمایت غوثِ پاک

مرحبا یا غوثِ پاک مرحبا یا غوثِ پاک مرحبا یا غوثِ پاک

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
