(صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم). Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly said: O Lord! I have read in the Tawrah about such an Ummah whose book will remain protected in their hearts and they will recite it from memory. People of the previous Ummahs were unable to memorize the revealed books and they used to read them by looking at the scriptures. [Then] Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly asked: Make it my Ummah. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ said: ‘تِلْکَ اُمَّۃُ اَحْمَدْ’ i.e., that is the Ummah of Ahmad (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم). Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly said: O my Creator! I have read in the Tawrah about such an Ummah that will give Sadaqah (charity) to their relatives and will be rewarded for it. Make it my Ummah. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ said: ‘تِلْکَ اُمَّۃُ اَحْمَدْ’ i.e., that is the Ummah of Ahmad (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم). Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly said: I have read in the Tawrah about such an Ummah that if any of them makes the intention of performing a good deed, then he will be granted the reward of one good deed just for making the intention. And if he performs that good deed, then he will be granted   the reward of 10 good deeds. O Lord! Make it my Ummah. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ said: ‘تِلْکَ اُمَّۃُ اَحْمَدْ’ i.e., that is the Ummah of Ahmad (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم).

Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly said: O my Lord عَزَّوَجَلَّ! I have read in the Tawrah about an Ummah that if anyone from that Ummah makes the intention of committing a sin, his sin will not be recorded. If he commits the sin, then only one sin will be recorded. O my Lord! Make it my Ummah. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ said: ‘تِلْکَ اُمَّۃُ اَحْمَدْ’ i.e., that is the Ummah of Ahmad (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم). Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly said: I have read in the Tawrah about such an Ummah that will have knowledge of the predecessors and successors and they        will remove deviation and will kill Dajjaal. O Lord عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Make it my Ummah. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ said: ‘تِلْکَ اُمَّۃُ اَحْمَدْ’ i.e., that is the Ummah of Ahmad (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم). Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly asked: Then, make me from among the Ummah of Ahmad. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ said, (by granting two privileges to him):           O Musa! I have chosen you for My message (i.e. Risalah) and for My Word. Accept whatever I am bestowing upon you and be among those who are grateful. Listening to this Divine command, Sayyiduna Musa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام humbly said: O Lord عَزَّوَجَلَّ! I am pleased. (Dalaail-un-Nubuwwah, pp. 33 Hadees 31)
