14. Characteristics of Sayyiduna ‘Isa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام

Sayyiduna ‘Isa عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام brought the dead back to life, he عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام gave sight to the blind and cured the leper, whereas the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم also brought the dead to life, gave sight to the blind, and cured the leper. When Khyber was conquered, a non-Muslim woman sent poisonous meat of a nanny goat to the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم as a gift, the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم took its arm portion and ate some out of it, that arm spoke: Poison has been mixed in me. (Sharh Zurqaani, vol. 3, pp. 290)

اِک دل ہمارا کیا ہے آزار اس کا کتنا

تم نے تو چلتے پھرتے مُردے جِلا دئیے ہیں

Explanation of the couplet: O Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! Relieving our sorrows is so simple matter for you because you bring the dead back to life in no time then the matter of my heart is not a big thing.

سب سے اَولٰی و اعلٰی ہمَارا نبی سب سے بالا و وَالا ہمَارا نبی

اپنے مولٰی کا پیارا ہمَارا نبی دونوں عالَم کا دُولہا ہمَارا نبی

بزمِ آخر کا شمع فروزاں ہوا نورِ اوّل کا جلوہ ہمَارا نبی

جس کو شایاں ہے عرش خُدا پر جلوس ہے وہ سلطانِ والا ہمَارا نبی

بجھ گئیں جس کے آگے سبھی مشعلیں شمع وہ لے کر آیا ہمَارا نبی

سارے اچھّوں میں اچھّا سمجھئے جسے ہے اُس اچھّے سے اچھّا ہمَارا نبی

سارے اُونچوں میں اُونچا سمجھئے جسے ہے اس اُونچے سے اُونچا ہمَارا نبی

خلق سے اَولیا اَولیا سے رُسل اور رَسولوں سے اَعلٰی ہمَارا نبی

قرنوں بدلی رَسولوں کی ہوتی رہی چاند بدلی کا نکلا ہمَارا نبی
