Dear Islamic brothers! It has become clear that the blessed day of the birth of our Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is most superior to all days. Therefore, we should also celebrate this day with great enthusiasm, in conformity with Shari’ah. We should hold Ijtima of Meelad, raise Madani flags and join the procession of Meelad. We should develop the habit of giving Sadaqah and charity in large quantities on this day. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ, many blessings will be received.

Sayyiduna Imam ‘Abdur Rahman Ibn Jawzi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه has stated, ‘For the one who expresses his joy and delight on the blessed birth of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, this happiness will become a shield, protecting him from Hell. O Ummah of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! May this be good news for you that you have been declared to be deserving of abundance of blessings in the world and the Hereafter. The one celebrating the blessed birth of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم will be granted respect, blessing, goodness and glory; he will enter the Paradise wearing an ‘Imamah [i.e. Islamic turban] of pearls and a green attire of Paradise; he will be granted countless palaces and there will be a Hoor in each palace. Recite Salat-‘Alan-Nabi in abundance and celebrate the blessed birth of the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, making it known widely. (Majmu’ Lateef-un-Nabi, pp. 281)
