1.         Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has said: The Beloved Rasool
صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: Nothing is better than Du’a before Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.

2.         Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah Bin ‘Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has said: The Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: The person for whom the door of Du’a is opened, then the door of mercy is opened for him. Among the requests, submitted to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, made in Du’a, the favourite one is about safety. The troubles which a person has suffered from and the troubles which have not come yet, only Du’a benefits in all of them. So O bondmen of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ! Make it compulsory (upon yourselves) to make Du’a.

3.         Sayyiduna Jabir Bin ‘Abdullah رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ has narrated that the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: Should I not tell you of such a thing that will bring you protection against your enemy and increase your sustenance; make Du’a to Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ day and night because Du’a is the weapon of a Mu`min (true believer). (Musnad Abi Ya’la, vol. 2, pp. 201, Hadees 1806)

Dear Islamic brothers! Many virtues of making Du’a have been mentioned in blessed Ahadees. Du’a is highly effective to get rid of troubles and difficulties. It also brings about an increase in sustenance. Du’a is a source of protection against enemies and it is also a weapon of a true believer. A true believer can overcome great troubles and tough circumstances by virtue of Du’a, therefore, every Muslim should remember Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ in times of joy and sorrow, and should sincerely make Du’a in order to attain goodness in this world and the Hereafter. He should make Du’a to get rid of any type of trouble. He should not be heedless of Du’a.
