Bad Character of Yazeed
Summary of speech
Dear Islamic brothers! Today, we have heard about the evil character of the accursed Yazeed. It is a fact that accursed Yazeed was a cruel and insensitive man of bad character. He propagated many sinful practices such as drinking wine, usury, songs and music, animal fighting etc. This accursed person never offered Salah and if he ever offered it, he offered Salah after its stipulated time. All these above-mentioned evils were very widespread.
Therefore, not only we, but also our future generations must boycott these evil practices, which were found in the accursed Yazeed, and we should keep ourselves away from the love of this world and sins. May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ protect us from the love of this world and the greed for wealth! May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ develop the love of Sayyiduna Imam Husayn رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ in our hearts and enable us to follow in his footsteps! Aameen
اُن دو کا صدقہ جن کوکہا میرے پھُول ہیں
کیجے رضاؔ کو حشر میں خنداں مثالِ گُل
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! In conclusion, I would like to take the opportunity to mention the excellence of Sunnah as well as some Sunan and manners. The Rasool of Rahmah, the Intercessor of the Ummah صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, ‘Whoever loves my Sunnah, loves me, and whoever loves me will be with me in Jannah.’ (Ibn ‘Asakir, vol. 9, pp. 343)
سینہ تری سُنَّت کا مدینہ بنے آقا
جنَّت میں پڑوسی مجھے تم اپنا بنانا
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
