Book Name:Faizan e Khadija tul Kubra

been narrated that the women of Quraysh used to have an ‘Eid, in which they used to get together by the sacred Baytullah.

One day they had been there for the same reason when a person from Syria arrived called out: O women of the groups of Quraysh! Very soon a Prophet will appear amongst you, he will be called Ahmad (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم). If any one of you wants to have the privilege of becoming his wife, she should do it. Having heard this, the women threw pebbles and stones at him, insulted him and became very rude to him, but Sayyidatuna Khadijah رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا remained quiet and committed this thing to her memory. Afterwards when Maysarah mentioned the signs which he saw and whatever she saw herself, she recalled that if that person spoke the truth, then he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم can be that honourable person. After receiving the Beloved Prophet’s consent, Nafeesah Bint-e-Manyah approached Sayyidatuna Khadijah رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا and said: Congratulations! Muhammad-e-Mustafa (صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم) has accepted your request. Sayyidatuna Khadijah رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا became overjoyed and expressed her delight. She رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَنْهَا then sent someone to her uncle ‘Amr Bin Asad so that he could also be present at the marriage ceremony (Nikah).
