made him sat with extreme respect under the shade of a tree and humbly presented him with a bunch of fresh grapes, and then sat on his knees. The saint of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ was very impressed by the great courtesy of this young man. Pleased with him, he took out a piece of oil cake from his side, chewed it, and then put it into the mouth of Sayyiduna Khuwajah Ghareeb Nawaz   رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه. As soon as he swallowed the piece of oil cake, the state of his heart suddenly changed and he lost interest in the world. Sultan-ul-Hind’s travel

Sultan-ul-Hind, Sayyiduna Khuwajah Mu’eenuddin Chishti رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه started travelling at the young age of 15 to acquire knowledge. He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه went to Sayyiduna Maulana Sharafuddin رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه and formally started gaining Islamic knowledge in Samarqand. He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه firstly memorized the whole Quran (Hifz-ul-Quran) and then acquired other branches of knowledge from him. (Allah kay Khaas Banday, pp. 508)

The more he رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه gained Islamic knowledge, the more he developed his yearning for it. So, in order to quench his thirst for knowledge, he رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه went to Bukhara and became the student of a renowned Islamic scholar, Maulana Husaamuddin Bukhari عَـلَيْـهِ رَحْـمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ الۡـبَارِی. In a short period of time, under Maulana Husaamuddin Bukhari’s affectionate guidance, he رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه succeeded in acquiring all the Islamic branches of knowledge which were customary at that time. He رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه stayed for 5 years in Samarqand and Bukhara to acquire knowledge. (Allah kay Khaas Banday, pp. 508)
