despite having power. This blessed act of Sayyiduna Yusuf عَـلٰى نَبِـيِّنَا وَعَـلَـيْهِ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّلَام of preventing from her was greatly appreciated by Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ as it is mentioned in Glorious Quran.’ (Ihya-ul-‘Uloom, vol. 3, pp. 129)

Refuting unwise lovers

This has made it as clear as day that the excuse made up from the incident of Sayyiduna Yusuf عَـلٰى نَبِـيِّنَا وَعَـلَـيْهِ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّلَام and Zulaykha by unwise lovers in favour of their sinful filthy love is contrary to the Holy Quran, and leads straight to unbelief in many cases. Only love on the part of Zulaykha has been mentioned in Surah Yusuf; it does not give even a hint of Sayyiduna Yusuf عَـلٰى نَبِـيِّنَا وَعَـلَـيْهِ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّلَام being involved in love towards her. Therefore, those who have the filthy idea that Sayyiduna Yusuf عَـلٰى نَبِـيِّنَا وَعَـلَـيْهِ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّلَام was also involved in love should repent and renew their faith (Iman) by embracing Islam again. The Prophets عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ have a very high status and are protected from sins, in fact they are unable to commit any sin.

مَحَبَّت غیر کی دل سے نکالو یَا رسولَ الله!

مجھے اپنا ہی دیوانہ بنا لو یَا رسولَ الله!

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب       صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
