Surah Hud Ayat 91 Translation Tafseer

Para 12 - وَ مَا مِنْ دَآبَّةٍ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

11.91

قَالُوْا یٰشُعَیْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِیْرًا مِّمَّا تَقُوْلُ وَ اِنَّا لَنَرٰىكَ فِیْنَا ضَعِیْفًاۚ-وَ لَوْ لَا رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنٰكَ٘-وَ مَاۤ اَنْتَ عَلَیْنَا بِعَزِیْزٍ(91)

Kanz-ul-Irfan

They said, “O Shuʿayb! We do not understand much of what you say, and indeed we consider you to be weak among us. Were it not for your tribe, we would have stoned you; you have no honour over us.”[1]

In our era, those who are averse to Islamic rulings, such as the unlawfulness of usury, the duty of veiling, or fulfilling the rights of Allah Almighty through ritual worship, should compare their words and actions to that of Prophet Shuʿayb’s nation. Are these critics not following the way of this disbelieving nation?
