Surah Al Mulk Ayat 15 Translation Tafseer

Para 29 - تَبٰرَكَ الَّذِیْ

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

67.15

هُوَ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ ذَلُوْلًا فَامْشُوْا فِیْ مَنَاكِبِهَا وَ كُلُوْا مِنْ رِّزْقِهٖؕ-وَ اِلَیْهِ النُّشُوْرُ(15)

Kanz-ul-Irfan

It is He who made the earth yielding for you. So walk in its paths and eat from His provisions. And to Him alone is the resurrection.[1]

Commentary

The earth has been made “yielding”, allowing us to benefit from what it contains. Had it been like a solid rock or iron, it would have been extremely hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter, making it difficult to walk on. Likewise, it is not liquid like water, for had it been this way, nothing would sit firm on it and to live life on earth would have been exceedingly difficult. Contrary to that, the earth has been made habitable, making it possible to dig wells and springs, build houses and buildings, and cultivate land and gardens.
