Ya ALLAH Mein Hazir Hon

Book Name:Ya ALLAH Mein Hazir Hon

Try and think for a moment of how huge an honour this is! What a matter of great fortune! Just take a step forward and act to please Allah. You will see blessings and mercy descend upon you.

Allah speaks to His slaves

The scholar, Ibn Rajab Ḥanbali رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه narrates:

Allah addresses His servants every day with a call of admonition. Take these words and affix them in your heart. He says, “O children of Ādam! You have not been just to Me. I mention you, but you forget Me. I call you to Myself, yet you go elsewhere. I distance troubles from you, but you remain adamant in transgression. O children of Ādam! If this is your condition, what excuse will you have on the Day of Judgement when you enter My court?”[1]

This call is indeed full of admonition for us. If only we could understand what this means and practically present ourselves in the court of Allah. As for the beautiful duʿā taught to us by our beloved Prophet  صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, we should make a deep-rooted habit of reciting this every single morning. Waking up every day, we should all recite لَبَّيْكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ with love, resolution, and dedication. This means we start our day by saying, “I am present! O Allah, I am present! I ask You for prosperity. All goodness is from You.” Recite this with your tongue and make intention to act upon it practically. Say, “O Allah! I am present and ready. I accept everything You order me to do.”

May Allah grant us ability to act upon this!
