Ya ALLAH Mein Hazir Hon

Book Name:Ya ALLAH Mein Hazir Hon

In the past, there was a disbeliever king who was oppressive to his people. This king declared war against the believers of the time, but he suffered a humiliating defeat. Allah granted the believers a resounding victory. This king was then imprisoned, and discussions were held about how he should be punished for his oppressive ways. It was eventually decided that he should be placed into a large pot and a fire would be lit beneath it. Like this, the king would experience a painfully agonizing death.

A large pot was hung above a fire and the king was thrown inside. As the pot slowly heated up, the king’s body began to burn, so he called out to his false gods. He called out to each of them, but he received no response and none of them came to help him. Just then, a thought entered the king’s heart. He looked towards the sky and began exclaiming:  لَااِلٰہَ اِلاَّاللہُ,  لَااِلٰہَ اِلاَّاللہ! In essence, he was saying “O Allah! I have fooled myself my entire life and fallen prey to polytheism. I have lived my entire life associating partners with You. I worshipped false gods and prostrated to them. O Allah! Today I have realised they were all false. The true Lord is none but You. I lower my head in Your court.” It is as though the king was saying, “لَبَّیْک اَللّٰہُمَّ لَبَّیْک” through his actions, whilst announcing: “I abandon shirk and disbelief, and I believe in لَااِلٰہَ اِلاَّاللہُ.”

As the king began to recite لَااِلٰہَ اِلاَّاللہُ, Allah sent a heavy rain which extinguished the fire. Then a strong wind began to blow, which caused the pot and the king inside to be lifted into the air. The king continued to recite لَااِلٰہَ اِلاَّاللہُ as he flew through the air in the pot, and the wind eventually carried him to a non-Muslim village.
