Remember, Satan is an open enemy of a Muslim. He tries his utmost to turn Muslims away from the path of the righteous people and instead make them traverse on the path of evils in any way possible, so that modesty is completely eradicated from the society, and immodesty and obscenity become prevalent.

Therefore, every wise person should firmly adhere to the path of the people of Allah; continue his battle against the accursed Satan; never fall prey to the whispers of Satan; and in order to protect himself from the deceptions of the accursed Satan, he should try to spend time with such devotees of the Prophet who keep him aware of the deceits of his carnal-self (nafs) and Satan.

Encouragement for Pious Deed Number 11

Dear Islamic brothers, to become an epitome of modesty, to perform good deeds, avoid sins and to remain in the company of pious Muslims, become affiliated with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami and participate in the 12 religious works of the Zeyli Halqah. One of the 12 religious works is to fill in the “Pious Deeds” booklet. It would not be wrong to say that the pious deeds that have been compiled in this booklet by the renowned spiritual guide and leader of Ahl al-Sunnah, Mawlānā Ilyās ꜤAṭṭār al-Qādirī  دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, in question-and-answer format, are in fact the first step towards attaining piety and modesty.

By acting upon these pious deeds, you will feel a significant change within yourself. The 11th Pious Deed states: “Whilst walking, or travelling in a car or a bus today, did you protect yourself from useless gazing by keeping your gaze lowered? Moreover, did you prevent yourself from looking here and there unnecessarily?”

Dear Islamic brothers! Unlawful gazing is a major reason for a person to fall into immorality, and a modest person always protects his eyes. Therefore, it is necessary for us to protect our eyes. These eyes are a great bounty that have been granted to us by Allah Almighty, which we can use to perform many good actions. However, if they are released from the restrictions of sharia, the eyes can taint our book of deeds. This is why both the Quran and Hadith have greatly emphasised the protection of the eyes. Hence, we should act upon the above-mentioned pious deed and safeguard our eyes.

    صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! The impact women can have on society is significant. Children will learn to adopt praiseworthy traits when they observe their mother showcasing them. By showing disregard for vice and instead emulating the lives of the honourable wives and daughters of the Prophet ‎ صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم —who epitomised modesty—women can successfully influence their children to become pious individuals.

In particular, the level of modesty possessed by the noble daughter of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, Sayyidatuna Fatimah رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا, is truly noteworthy and something to be followed. Therefore, let us listen to a faith-refreshing account regarding the matchless modesty of Sayyidatuna Fatima al-Zahra رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا.

Matchless veil of a matchless personality

After the apparent passing of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, the grief of this incident overwhelmed Sayyidatuna Fatima al-Zahra رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا to such an extent that the smile on her face had completely vanished. She was seen smiling only once before her apparent passing.
