عَلَى مَا سِوَاهُ’ and whatever He confers upon kindness, He does not confer upon anything else.[1]
2. ‘اِنَّ الرِّفۡقَ لَا يَكُونُ فِي شَيۡءٍ اِلَّا زَانَهُ’ Gentleness is not found in anything except that it beautifies it ‘وَلَا يُنۡزَعُ مِنۡ شَيۡءٍ اِلَّا شَانَهُ’ and it is not withdrawn from anything except that it makes it defective.[2]
3. ‘مَنۡ يُحۡرَمُ الرِّفۡقَ يُحۡرَمُ الۡخَيۡرَ’, i.e. One who is deprived of kindness, is deprived of every goodness.[3]
4. ‘مَنۡ اُعۡطِىَ حَظَّهُ مِنَ الرِّفۡقِ’, i.e. One who is given a share of kindness ‘فَقَدۡ اُعۡطِىَ حَظَّهُ مِنۡ خَيۡرِ الدُّنۡيا وَالۡآخِرَةِ’, is given a share out of the goodness of the world and the Hereafter.[4]
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers, there are some foolish people who consider anger to be bravery, manliness, self-respect and a show of great tenacity. People with such a mindset should act upon the beloved Prophet’s Sunnah of forbearance and gentleness because gentleness has countless advantages.
The individual efforts of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم
It is reported that a young man arrived in the court of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and humbly said, “O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم ! Permit me to commit adultery.” This infuriated the blessed companions
