Be gentle and you will benefit

Dear Islamic brothers, when we find a Muslim submerged in sins, upon noticing him violating and transgressing the Shari’ah, we should rectify him with the intention of the betterment of his Hereafter, and if you feel that your admonition and advice may create any conflict, then regard it as bad in your heart. However, in our personal matters, if something contrary to our nature occurs, we should show patience and forgiveness. No matter how angry we get, we should restrain our tongues and hands and forgive for the pleasure of Allah Almighty, because when the tongue gets out of control, it sometimes worsens the situation and ruins good progress.

Remember, if we give up taking revenge against others with good intentions, our society can become a place of peace, and it will be purged from the distasteful elements like disruption, differences and disputes. Allah Almighty likes tolerance and gentleness. Certainly, whoever gains this great blessing becomes the most fortunate person. Gentleness is the adornment of a human, and being impolite all the time is against proper etiquettes too. A courteous and gentle person is loved by everyone, whereas a harsh and ill-tempered person is disliked by everyone.

Let us listen to 4 blessed sayings of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم in order to adopt gentleness and kindness:

1.   ‘اِنَّ اللّٰهَ رَفِيۡقٌ يُحِبُّ الرِّفۡقَ Undoubtedly Allah Almighty is kind, and He loves kindnessوَيُعۡطِي عَلَى الرِّفۡقِ مَا لَا يُعۡطِي عَلَى الۡعُنۡفِ and confers upon kindness that which He does not confer upon harshnessوَمَا لَا يُعۡطِي
