your attention towards the blessed Rawdah with utmost respect and humility. If you cannot cry, make a crying-like face and try to bring your heart to this condition. Make a plea to the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم from your heart. Now approach the gates of the Masjid, send salawat upon the Prophet and wait a while, as if seeking permission to visit him. Recite بِسْم اللہ and enter the masjid with your right foot first with the utmost respect. The heart of every Muslim is aware of the etiquette and reverence that is required at that time; free the eyes, ears, tongue, hands, feet and heart of everything else. Do not look towards the decorations and embellishments of the sacred Masjid. If someone comes before you whom you must greet and speak to, then avoid it if possible, otherwise, do not exceed what is necessary and keep your heart focussed on the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم .[1]

It is mentioned in Fatawa Aalamgiri and other works: یَقِفُ کَمَا یَقِفُ فِی الصَّلٰوۃ, i.e., In the court of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, stand as you stand in prayer. Remember, the noble Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is in his grave looking at you and is aware of the condition of your heart. Do not touch or kiss the blessed golden grilles; this is contrary to correct
