Hajj Ke Fazail

Book Name:Hajj Ke Fazail

Makkah for a moment, Hell is distanced from him by a journey of 100 years.”[1]

Sayyiduna Sa’īd ibn Jubayr رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ   once said, “Whosoever falls ill in Makkah for a day will be granted reward by Allah Almighty for the deed he carried out for seven years (and now, due to illness, he is unable to do it). If he (the sick person) is a traveller, he will receive double the reward.”[2]

Our beloved master, the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “The one who intended to perform Hajj or Umrah and died in the Haramayn (Makkah or Madinah) in this state, he will be raised by Allah Almighty on the Day of Judgement with no accountability or punishment upon him.” In another narration, it is mentioned, “He will be raised with those who are safe on the Day of Judgement.”[3]

Remain cautious in Makkah Mukarramah!

Mercy showers like rain every second in Makkah al-Mukarramah. The doors of grace and benevolence never close. Everyone in this blessed city is given what they ask for. One good deed performed within the Haram is equivalent to 100,000 good deeds, and equally, one sin is equivalent to 100,000 sins. Despite knowing this, many people audaciously commit sins in Makkah. Looking at haraam, backbiting, tale-telling, lying, breaking promises, hurting the feelings of other Muslims, displaying anger in an impermissible fashion and speaking cruelly to others are but a small example of some of the sins people commit there. Such people have no idea that they are actually making preparations for Hell.
